For job seekers

What happens after you hit submit

No black hole. Here is the actual sequence, including how long each part usually takes.

The process

From resume to offer, step by step

  1. Send your resume

One form, one file. Tell us what you are looking for and what you are not. Both are useful.

  2. We read it

A person, not a parser. If your background fits something we are working on, we call you within a few days. If it does not, we say so.

  3. Intake call

We talk through your experience, target compensation, work authorization and what you actually want next. Then we tell you honestly what the market looks like for that.

  4. Submission & interviews

We ask permission before submitting you anywhere, prepare you properly for each interview, and chase feedback so you are not left guessing.

Know your terms

Contract types, explained plainly

These terms get thrown around a lot. Here is what they actually mean for your pay and your taxes.

Comparison of W2, corp-to-corp and direct hire

Corp-to-corpYour own companyYou handleYou arrangeHigher, to offset costs
Direct hireThe client, permanentlyClient withholdsClient benefitsAnnual salary

A corp-to-corp rate looks higher because it has to cover the taxes, insurance and benefits a W2 employer would otherwise pay. Compare total value, not headline rate.
