Direct Hire
Direct hire, also called permanent placement, is when an agency recruits a candidate who then joins your payroll as a permanent employee. You pay a one-time fee, usually a percentage of first-year salary, and the placement is covered by a written replacement guarantee.

Where we use direct hire
Direct Hire questions, answered
How much does direct-hire recruiting cost?
Direct-hire fees are normally a percentage of the candidate first-year base salary, commonly in the 18–25% range across the US market. We agree the exact percentage in writing before starting a search, and it does not change afterwards.
Do I pay anything if you do not fill the role?
No. Our direct-hire work is contingent: no placement, no fee. We only take searches we believe we can fill, which is why we sometimes decline a role rather than take it on speculatively.
What is the replacement guarantee?
If a direct-hire placement leaves or is terminated within the guarantee period agreed in your contract, we run the search again at no additional fee. The period and conditions are stated in the agreement before you sign.
